How Interfrost came into being.... In 1989, several regional wholesalers in the hotel, restaurant and catering business decided to form an association to centralise purchasing. It originally started as a kind of a co-operative venture that developed and grew into the largest purchasing group in the Belgian/Luxembourg hotel, restaurant and catering industry. Since 2001, Interfrost Group is also affiliated to ECD (European Catering Distributors). Today Interfrost product range covers about 4000 different items, mainly in the food range, representing fresh and dried foodstuffs as well as deep-frozen products. Turnover million € 2007: 152 In addition, there is a range of non-food products. Altogether, the Interfrost Group supplies about 15,000 customers that include essentially restaurants, collectivity, inns and delicatessen business.
